Anti-Bribery Policy
At Global Street Art, we are committed to conducting our business with integrity, transparency, and in full compliance with UK law, particularly The Bribery Act 2010. We have a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption, and this policy ensures that we uphold the highest ethical standards in all our dealings, both in the UK and internationally.
Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to everyone associated with Global Street Art, including employees (permanent, fixed-term, and temporary), contractors, consultants, interns, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and any other individuals or organisations representing us. Engaging in bribery is a criminal offence, carrying severe penalties including imprisonment and fines. Organisations failing to prevent bribery may also face substantial legal and reputational consequences. We take these matters seriously and will take appropriate action against anyone found in breach of this policy.
Our Stance on Bribery and Corruption
Bribery involves offering, promising, giving, or accepting any form of advantage—whether money, gifts, hospitality, or services—with the intention of influencing an outcome improperly. Corruption is the abuse of power for personal or organisational gain. We do not tolerate either in any form.
Facilitation Payments and Kickbacks
We prohibit facilitation payments (unofficial payments to expedite routine actions) and kickbacks (payments made in exchange for business advantages). If you are ever unsure about a payment or suspect improper activity, you should report it immediately.
Gifts and Hospitality
While we recognise that exchanging gifts and hospitality can be part of business relationships, they must always be reasonable, proportionate, and not intended to secure an unfair advantage. Small promotional gifts and customary hospitality may be acceptable, provided they comply with ethical guidelines. Any gifts of significant value should be declared to a senior manager and may be donated to charity where appropriate.
Political and Charitable Contributions
Global Street Art does not normally make donations to political parties or candidates. In rare cases where such contributions occur, they will be fully disclosed and never used to gain an improper advantage. Charitable donations will always be made transparently and in line with ethical practices.
Record Keeping and Compliance
We maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including gifts and hospitality, to ensure full transparency. Any hospitality, gifts, or business expenses must be properly documented and submitted in accordance with our internal policies.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage anyone with concerns about bribery or unethical conduct to report them. Reports can be made to a senior manager and will be treated with confidentiality and without fear of retaliation.
Policy Review and Training
We regularly review and update this policy to ensure its effectiveness. Training is provided to relevant individuals where necessary to reinforce compliance with our anti-bribery commitments.
Global Street Art is dedicated to fostering a culture of integrity and accountability. We expect everyone we work with to share this commitment and uphold the principles outlined in this policy.
