Bupa’s ‘Express Your Health’ campaign used creativity to open up conversations about health, giving people another way to express experiences that can be difficult to put into words.

For the London launch, we hand-painted 773 square metres of the Rambert façade on the Southbank, transforming it into one vibrant collective artwork. The mural brought together 21 personal stories spanning anxiety, grief, fertility, diabetes, ageing and more. Contributors included Tom Daley, Sophie Tea, Yinka Ilori, Coco Dávez, Cody Weightman and Joe Wicks.

"

Seeing these deeply personal stories brought together and transformed into one of Europe’s largest hand-painted murals has been hugely powerful."

Fiona Bosman, Global Brand Director, Bupa

Huge human effort draws huge attention...

The scale of the mural gave these individual stories a powerful shared platform. It took 19 days to paint the equivalent of 21 bespoke 28 sq m murals, brought together as one vast mosaic. Each day, up to eight Global Street Art artists worked on the façade, abseiling across the building to recreate every individual artwork by hand.

For a campaign rooted in human stories, the making of the mural demanded an epic human effort to match from our artist team.

The Waterloo Bridge and London Landmark walls cover the façades of Rambert, one of the world’s leading contemporary dance companies.

Exclusive to Global Street Art, the sites offer huge-scale visibility at the heart of the Southbank, surrounded by the Southbank Centre, National Theatre, Hayward Gallery, Royal Festival Hall and London Eye.

Commercial campaigns on the building also help support Rambert’s artistic programme, connecting high-impact public advertising with long-term investment in the arts.
