The Leadenhall Building, also affectionately known as ‘The Cheesegrater’ has a series of prominent trumpet like air vents on its forecourt, designed by architect Richard Rogers.

The Trumpets have made for a fascinating canvas for street artists DRT, Carl Cashman, Anna Ovni, Itaewon, and Nick Tez across two editions of London Mural Festival (2020 and 2024), thanks to a partnership with Savills.

Each artist created a bespoke design incorporating bold, geometric and abstract shapes and a unique colour palette, bringing rainbow colours to the city.

The Trumpets created a challenge for our artists, due to their unique shape and texture, in some cases requiring a five-stage process over two days to create these custom vinyl and spray-paint artworks.
